Scope of the accessibility statement

Costa Edutainment S.p.A. is committed to making its website www.lecaravelle.com accessible, in accordance with theEuropean Accessibility Act (EEA, Directive 2019/882, issued by the European Union on April 17, 2019, "on accessibility requirements for products and services"). This accessibility statement refers to said website.

Details of the evaluation methodology

The assessment was carried out through an accessibility audit conducted with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guideline (WCAG) in its version 2.1 and Level AA.

The analysis involved a combination of

advanced automated tools (MAUVE - Multiguideline Accessibility and Usability Validation Environment)
Code compliance review in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA
testing with assistive technology that has included (but not limited to) use of Screen Reader, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnifiers, ...

The analysis involved the core flows of the site and in particular the pages representing the templates used within the site.

Compliance status

The analysis conducted showed in a Partial Compliance with the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. Costa Edutainment S.p.A. is committed to taking the necessary corrective actions to remedy the aspects identified during the analysis activity.

On average, the site presents a percentage of accessibility of 91% (Measure indicating how accessible the website is in terms of the number of successfully evaluated techniques out of the total number of evaluated techniques for which the tool was able to perform a validation) and a completeness of evaluation of the 80% (Metric indicating the percentage of techniques evaluated for which the instrument was able to perform validation.)

Noncompliances currently present and the subject of our future activities include, for example:

1.1.1 - Not all non-text content presented to the user has an equivalent textual alternative
1.3.1 - Not all information, structure, and correlations can be determined programmatically or are available through text
1.4.1 - The functionality of some elements is identified only through the use of color
1.4.3 - Some texts do not have sufficient contrast with the background
1.4.4 - Use in some cases percentage, em units to determine font size
1.4.5 - Some textual images were used.
2.4.4 - The purpose of each link can be determined by the link text alone or by the link text together with contextual content that can be determined programmatically, except where the purpose of the link might be ambiguous to users in general.
2.4.7 - Focus is not fully visible in all interactive elements
3.2.2 - For a field there is no submit button.
4.1.2 - Some input elements lack accessible name
